Let people form teams in Random Arenas
I think it would be really neat if people could make teams in Random Arenas...oh, I see you've already implemented this feature.
Nothing is more annoying than losing a gladiator point to cheaters. If arenanet didn't have their heads up their asses all day every day, I'd also ask them to ticket those accounts. I thought using exploits was against the EULA.
In case you're blonde or just a total moron, my suggestion is to fix the RA exploit.

....that is not cheating...it's just using your brain. You go into a district with little people and keep entering at the same time until you get into a group. I'll let you know that it is not easy to do, no fault goes to ANET here. If you would just stop complaining and come up with some original builds instead of the cookie-cutter builds everybody uses now-a-days. Now I that is what your saying but I just find no way ANET could fix this. Barring the fact that I am a moron(I wouldnt say total), I am BLONDE, and I'm not creative this isnt surprising but you only come across this 1 every 500+ matches. I've only done this once and I know its one of the last things that need to be fixed considering the whole 55 monks ss epidemic.

It's an exploit as simple as that. You're abusing the random mechanism in order to gain an unfair advantage (Teams with TS that are used to play with each other > Teams without TS that have never met before - that's also why RA Teams horribly fail once they reach TA).

Yeah it is annoying but what can Anet really do about it? I can't think of a single thing that can't be bypassed or convict innocent people.

Umm...they fact that they are rigging a "random" battle is the very definition of cheating.

Try reading my first post again. You obviously misunderstood what I said. I could be the best player on the planet, but me and 3 random people against a team of 4 predecided, synergetic builds is impossible to win. And I wasn't using a cookie cutter, thanks. The cheating team, however, was.

That's because you don't think.
Here's the simple solution:
Prevent people with the same guild/alliance from being on the same team.
This only stops some TA teams from entering RA, but it's at least a start.

Yes, because that is a completely fool-proof method to solve this problem. Oh wait...
*4 guildies. 3 leave the guild but are on TS with the 4th. They all enter at the same time and team up.*
Looks like your fool-proof idea isn't so fool-proof after all. At least now when they own your team you wont have PROOF they were guildies.

Well why don't you try actually reading the rest of the topic before posting something that is completly off-topic, the title of this topic was just sarcastic.

There's no way to make the random generation completely foolproof (or random, for that matter). As someone else pointed out, those dedicated to getting a 'team' together in RA could do so without being in the same guild.
Fair go...

lmao when I read the thread title.
I can't think of anything that would effectively work without having drastic side effects. So lets look at the upside: this guild/team is so pathetic they have to team up in the random arenas, because the obviously can only handle random teams. They probably got their butts kicked in Team Arenas.
Just my two cents

I think Anet have bigger concerns then some lame RA matches..its sad they have to group for RA of all things but there is more pressing matters to be dealt with.
Just do what all the other RA players do..scream noob and rage quit.

saw this thread title and nearly exploded.....
but yeah, stuff like that happens. I dont RA often and when I do I only play a headbutt + plague touch build to tick off monks. My guild tried it once as a joke, and it ended up me and 3 randoms vs 3 of my guildies and a r6.
and I won, because some randoms in RA are actually good.
morale of this story: GVG

I think the intent is obvious. I have seen one of the guilds in that screenshot paired up like that a few times as well.
Its the same method guild and alliance teams try to get get in the same fight in Alliance Battle.

I guess that's why I once got 20 consecutive wins in a RA team, because we were so familiar with one another...
I don't really see any good way of dealing with this "exploit"

Because A-net really has to worry about such a minor exploit when 5 year olds are screaming about the imbaness of searing flames.
/sarcasm.
Like this exploit really matters in the end...

"The end" is "Arenanet's income per year." You're right, in the end, no exploits matter. I wonder why they even fix things in the first place. People can't "unbuy" the game.

Anet's only concern is making money, and as long as people are allowed to cheat, they will keep playing. It's likely this exploit will never be fixed.
A good game gone bad by a company who doesn't care about the players makes me sad It's a shame that GW become worse with every game update.
